Let’s dive in!
Kids Fireworks Goody Bag:
What’s better than enjoying the mesmerizing fireworks display? Giving your kids their very own goody bag filled with treats and surprises to make the experience even more memorable! Here’s how you can create one:
For these goody bags IÂ used these clear resealable bags from Amazon since we were traveling with our bags. You could use paper bags, small gift bags, or small bins/containers.
Fill up your bags or bins with your favorite patriotic finds. Some ideas include:
This idea is so simple and sure to be a hit with your kids.
Festive Fishbowl Drinks:
Cool off from the summer heat with refreshing fishbowl drinks, a delightful and visually appealing treat for kids. Here’s how you can make them:
Materials and Ingredients:
Small fishbowls from the Dollar Tree
Nerds
Blue sports drink
Gummy fish or other sea-themed gummy candies
Ice cubes
If you are using the Dollar Tree fishbowls you’ll need to create the straw opening. To do this, drill through the lid of the fish bowls with a 1/4″ bit.
Wash and dry the fishbowls.
First add nerds on the bottom of the fishbowl.
Fill up with ice cubes to the top.
Add on your gummy fish or sharks on top of the ice so that these can be “swimming” in the fishbowl.
Pour in your blue sports drink.
Add the lid and straw and enjoy!
Fruit Charcuterie Sticks
Elevate your snack game with these delightful and healthy fruit charcuterie sticks that kids will love. Here’s how you can create them:
Fruit of your choice – For a festive look I used strawberries and blueberries
Mini Marshmallows
Wash and cut the fruits into bite-sized pieces if needed.
Thread the fruits and mini marshmallows onto the skewers or wooden sticks, alternating between different colors and shapes to create an appealing arrangement.
Repeat the process until you have a variety of fruit sticks.
For an optional touch, offer small cups of honey or yogurt for dipping the fruit sticks.
This 4th of July, make lasting memories with your kids by incorporating these fun and creative ideas into your celebrations. From the kids fireworks goody bag to the refreshing fishbowl drinks and fruit charcuterie sticks, these activities are sure to add excitement, color, and a patriotic spirit to your festivities. Enjoy the day with your little ones, and have a safe and happy Independence Day!
